An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are now looking for a Retail Installer and Merchandiser to join our expanding team in Dublin. The role will give you the opportunity to work with top high street retailers and supermarkets working on behalf of some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a highly rewarding role when you can look at your hard work with pride and satisfaction knowing that you were responsible for growing that particular brand.
You will be a core member of an evolving team of Operatives and will be merchandising new stock, moving parts around according to a new planogram, changing over the visuals and maintaining display stands, reporting damage and keeping them looking amazing for the customers that visit the store.
Although we cannot guarantee full hours at this stage, we do have adequate work to keep you busy with around 30 hours per week. Please note that the successful candidate must be flexible towards travel across Ireland with occasional overnight stays.
Essential requirements:
Ø Retail background.
Ø Merchandising experience.
Ø Excellent customer service skills.
Ø Excellent communication skills.
Ø Attention to detail – be methodical on site to ensure we deliver the best, first time.
Ø Work as a part of a team and on your own.
Ø IT / technical skills.
Ø Own vehicle and clean driving license.
Ø Willing to travel (expenses paid).
Ø Have a 4G or 5G smart phone for reporting.
Ø Comfortable inputting simple reporting via App based system
Roles and responsibilities:
Ø Uninstalling outdated mobile phone displays and replacing with new display mobile phones.
Ø Profile shelving, install/merchandise & implement displays to a high standard.
Ø Update light-box graphics and point of sale in the likes of Arnotts and Brown Thomas (pre-store opening often a requirement).
Ø Replacing marketing materials and point of sale (POS) in high street retail stores.
Ø Store audits.
Ø Use initiatives to problem solve and suggest resolutions when encountering challenges.
Ø Ensure clear, regular, concise and detailed App based reports.
Ø Ability to illustrate strong time management and prioritisation of skills.
Ø Manage any client/field/office issues effectively and in a calm and timely fashion.
Ø This business is extremely busy and fast paced. It is critical that the successful candidate can work at speed and manage workload effectively to achieve resourcing requirements.
The package:
Pay - €12.50 per hour.
Pay schedule - weekly.
€0.32 per km for business miles.
All business expenses paid on receipt.
Bed and breakfast accommodating and nightly allowance if travel is required.
