Position summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join our Nestlé Cereal Partners team based at our Dublin offices in Ireland. This role will be reporting directly in to our Country Category Manager. The scope of this role involves developing and implementing Irish specific marketing plans ensuring market opportunities are fully exploited and commercial KPI's are delivered while creating positive brand experiences. This role will allow us to execute & optimise the marketing mix in the market, including but not limited to above the line, consumer marketing and shopper marketing.
We have incredibly ambitious targets to drive growth and increase the visibility across our market, so we are looking for a candidate with a previous commercial background who can work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver excellence in this space with a selection of our world-famous brands.
A day in the life of a Brand Manager…
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for delivering the annual brand plan for the market. You will take ownership of the annual brand planning process for Cereal Partners in Ireland with support from the Country Category Manager and UK brand teams. Other key responsibilities include:
- Manage existing portfolio in terms of monthly brand health evaluations (consumer measures/drivers), contribute to the monthly business process (MBP), PFME pre and post evaluations.
- Ensure the budget management process across the brands are aligned to maximise our spend and deliver exceptional ROI. Contribute to the annual ICP process.
- Responsible for setting the integrated communications plan for the portfolio in Ireland, working across a set of stakeholders including: Key Media and Communications Agencies, Media Auditors, UK marketing, Marcomms and Corporate Affairs.
- Work closely with sales and category teams to develop winning commercial propositions and communications and share learnings with the wider team.
- Develop and execute clear integrated strategies that ensures consistency of messaging and brand communications including all aspects of ATL/BTL and shopper associated with the local brand/portfolio initiatives,
- Turn data into insights, ensuring informed strategic decisions for the brand are made by analysing market share, P&L analysis, consumers measures, consumer research and other local insight sources.
- Ensure integration, localisation, or adaption of UK assets in Ireland while developing and delivering local assets as required based on the strategy.
- Working with local agencies to deliver the following: Advertising, Media, Consumer promotions, PR, Shopper Marketing, Packaging, Sampling, Digital, Cause Related Marketing, leading the couponing, brand specific promotional/nutrition events in the Irish market.
- Create, develop, and execute bespoke shopper marketing activities across all retailers in the Irish market ensuring brand / portfolio strategies are maintained, activities align with retailer objectives while simultaneously engaging consumers.
- Ensure that all marketing activity and packaging complies with the latest regulatory and legal guidelines e.g., ASAI on HFSS.
- Lead sponsorship activity with the support from the Country Category Manager and UK teams.

As the successful candidate, you’ll be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a breadth of fantastic sales experience with a strong commercial background under your belt.
You’ll already have experience of working in a similar role within a matrix organisation. You’ll be passionate, results focused and enjoy working in an exciting environment. You’ll thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You’ll have fantastic communication skills and understand how your decisions impact our business strategy.
