About the Job
The Community Network Specialist works on the Community Development team and reports to the Community Network Coordinator. The two key goals of this role are to:
- Increase FoodCloud’s availability to more charities and community groups.
- Create a system of engagement that can inform and inspire a more engaged and active FoodCloud community network.
Key Duties
- Outbound calls to charities who meet retailer’s requirements
- Meet scheduling targets to connect charities with retailers
- Use our CRM to record and gather information and complete follow-up tasks.
- Initial assessment of charities for due diligence
- Liaise with Food Safety Officer to ensure charities meet food safety requirements
- Manage email and phone correspondence related to charity queries and charity onboarding, including ad-hoc queries and administrative tasks.
- Assign charities to the schedule
- Manage and ensure smooth handover of new charity partners to the Support Team
- Liaise with Account Manager for relevant retailer
- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Additional duties as required per business needs
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years’ experience in a customer service or an administrative role preferred but not required
- Sales experience or experience in the community sector a distinct advantage
- Excellent telephone manner a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word or Google Suite
- Proactive approach to dealing with queries
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality work and customer interaction
- Previous experience with CRM system a plus
