We are currently recruiting for a full time Deli Assistant for our busy Centra store in Ardfert, Kerry. Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work any 5 days, Sun - Sat inclusive. This includes weekend and bank holidays.
Experience in a similar role a distinct advantage but is not a necessity as full training will be provided.
Job Role:
- Prepare, cook and display foods in all fresh food counters and Caramico pizza..
- Cook and merchandise products in bakery department, maintaining a strong offering throughout the day.
- Prepare customer orders across all counters in the deli department, offering customers excellent product knowledge and friendly, efficient service.
- Working as part of the deli team to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Ideal Candidate:
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent personal presentation standards
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
- Previous experience in fresh food or customer-facing role
- HACCP training is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business; this is a full-time position and shifts will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Salary from €11.30 p/h DOE
